Energy Transition Center Deputy Director Irina Gayda spoke at PetroMujer Merida 2023, the first international congress for women working in the fuel and energy complex, held in Venezuela. The expert discussed the causes of the global energy crisis and its impact on the world economy: rising food prices, servicing government debt, and depletion of bank resources in less economically developed regions. In her speech, she suggested that the world will be able to adapt to the new market realities, but the balance will be extremely fragile and expensive in the next decade.
