How to combine technological development with concern for the environment?

Andrey Osiptsov, Director of Project Center for Energy Transition and ESG of Skoltech, commented on the center's work in an article on RBC.
The Skoltech project center for energy transfer is designing high-tech solutions for the capture, useful use and long-term storage of CO2.
In parallel, Skoltech is helping Gazpromneft to switch to "green" oilfield service technologies so that hydrocarbon production causes less damage to the planet.
According to Skoltech's calculations, the energy transition for Russia will consist primarily in a decrease in the share of coal and oil with an increase in the share of gas, atom and hydroelectric power plants in the energy balance. Gas also remains relevant as the fastest way to decarbonize coal-fired energy balances in the Asia-Pacific region.
